Trying to play an old game

Hey guys, I used to play this really old game called Skyroads in elementary school and it just now repopped in my head after so many years.
The developers apparently are offering it as a free download here. It doesn't seem to work either on W7 or W8. Any one know who I might go about playing this game again?
