Try before you buy. 03-07-2013, 08:43 AM

Hello everyone, I'm new here so nice to meet you (=, I searched for a thread like this one but didn't see any so I thought I'd start this topic. Well as my title states, what are your opinions on cracked material, for example cracked apps like iPhone or android apps? Do you believe in the "try before you buy" approach?

I usually just buy it to support the developers ( I usually only buy stuff that are needed, I don't like to buy stuff I don't need haha ).

It's plane stupid if you ask me. Why install and then uninstall to buy the same app again? I usually crack stuff, unless it's a game, where I mainly play Multiplayer.

@bluedog.tar.gz, I also believe in supporting devs for their hard work.
@BrySi, I see your point, however that's what try before buy means. For example, you try a cracked ipa, it's useful, you already have it, but if you feel the developer took time to make it a good app then you might say, "well, since this app is useful and well made, I'll go ahead and buy it to support the dev", again, you don't have to but it's always nice for someone to get recognition for their work. But I respect your opinion (=

I did this once. I tried a cracked version of something I though I wouldn't like that much. But then it caught me. I loved it, which is why I bought it a few days later. I wouldn't have bought it without trying the cracked version before.
I like to support devs that did good work, because I am a dev as well.
