Trump has pardoned/commuted a long list of people, last minute. These include people like Steve Bannon and Elliot Broidy, to Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. A decent portion of the people pardoned/commuted were non-violent offenders, many for drugs. List is linked below.

With only hours to go before leaving office, President Donald Trump pardoned 73 people and commuted the sentences of 70 others.

The list, made public early Wednesday morning, included his former chief strategist and longtime ally Steve Bannon as well as his former top fundraiser Elliott Broidy.

Lots could be said on the absurdity of people serving life sentences for drug-related charges. Ulbricht was charged for more than just that, though.

As far as I'm aware, there has not been a single case where a presidential pardon was reversed. The closest example involved President Grant and Johnson over 100 years ago, where 2 pardons were intercepted before they got delivered. Essentially once the convicts are released, they're good to go.

Thanks Oni! I had no idea. I suspect the pardons have never been for anything that would truly warrant another president/administration pursuing their re-arrest.

If you read between the lines it's a bit obvious something is going on because what is a meeting between Donald Trump and Weezy Baby really gonna be about?

"Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump," Lil Wayne said in a tweet after the October 29 meeting, posting a photo alongside Trump, both men smiling with thumbs up.

He added, "Besides what he's done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done."
