I can not imagine things will be great over there straight away after they leave but Afghanistan never will be like the U.S.

I don't think that was ever the aim? Isn't there great risk of more internal fighting and death expected when the American's leave?

I'm sure in the long-run, things will balance out.. or just continue in internal wars. I don't really see this as either good news or bad. I just know it means America and it's allies won't be able to offer their help to anyone regardless of what happens now. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
