1.)Triple boot

Prerequisites!!

Installed Win7(32) first
Then installed BT4..

sudo fdisk -l


Disk /dev/sda: 320.0 GB, 320072933376 bytes

Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

My Query now! ...

If I now install Windows 7 (64) to D drive...

I guess GRUB will be overwritten right?? It will be replaced by MBR of Windows..yes?

Now if it is so...I can use LIVE CD of UBUNTU or so and get back by GRUB..right?

and then if it wont recognize win7(64) I can add it to menu.lst...yes?

So..no problem if I do it?

Suggestions plzz..

Also...I am mad and this thing


2.)Regarding Grub...

I got "Grub Load ERROR 17" 2day..Becoz I probably messed it I donno!!
Well it is solved by booting up using live CD..but my doubt is..

find /boot/grub/stage1

returned

(hd0,5)

That is where my Grub is installed!? right into 6th partition(sda6)?
I dont understand tht!!
And hence I made

root (hd0,5)

What could happen If i make root (hd0,0) ??

Also what happened to sda3 and sda4 ?? Why it isnt being shown ???

Please explain these stuff!!!

can you see sda3 and sda4 when you do <<<sudo fdisk -l>>> ???
