Several Trend Micro apps were kicked out of the Apple Store after having leaked information to apparently Chinese servers.

Trend Micro apps include:

• Dr. Antivirus
  
• Dr. Cleaner
  
• Dr. Unarchiver
  

It's interesting to note that Apple does care about privacy. Furthermore, other TM apps are still available on the App Store.

It's not surprising.

Apps are known for their vulnerabilities and tracking hence I don't deal with any, never have and never will.
