Not very accurate? Can you give me one scene in that movie that made sense to you?!

And about the cloting, no Sir... I have standards! lol, but seriously, I am not focusing on anything in this movie, technically this is one of the worse movies about hackers, it is even an insult to hackers... wanna argue that? (and seems that you do), can you explain why this movie made it into these lists of ("the worse movies about hacker/tech"

I said this is a must watch movie just for one reason and that was the concepts that were covered, its like a visionary and a source for CS guys to get inspired. To be very frank, there are many programmers on this forum, some active whereas others are not, AI takes Theoretical Computer Science to an utmost level where several other things arise.

Programming is a part of CS and not CS itself, yeah I think programming is not enough to call yourself a CS guy, there are many guys who can learn PHP, HTML, CSS etc. etc. it not that big deal or even languages like python or ruby or Java etc., I don't think thats enough to call someone a CS guy. Many of my friends are from commerce, but they are good web designers and they can code in php too. I included PHP but it should be considered upto a level only because after that one needs good concepts of data structures and intuitive programming aptitude knowledge. Another fact is that nowadays programming is not an especiality for computer science but everyone can learn programming, I recommend you'll to watch the promo video of code.org

Theoretical Computer Science can be considered the true core of CS, a concept from where many important things evolve. Programming Languages were developed based on that concept (Not the most historical languages but all languages from B, BCPL or FORTRAN or later). So, when I said must watch for CS guys it was focused more to those who are well experienced with the subject and can understand the depth of the topic. Making even a simple Chatbot isn't a child's play, a lot of great concepts must be learned before working on something like that. The PINN which was shown in the movie actually is a great inspiration to those who understand the complexity of the subject very well. I never watched this movie from the view of a Sci-fy point but as a source to get a concept, get inspired.

I'm not arguing with you, no one is arguing with you. The only one who's taking this thread seriously is you.

There is some realism to this movie, there's not a lot of it, but there are some scenes. A good example of this (I'm asuming that you're already seen the movie) is when Dade calls up the TV broadcast center and Social Engineers them into granting him access. That's pretty much what SEing is all about.

If you read my post properly, you'll notice that I never said that there was nothing wrong with their clothing. I admit that they look like Gay Stage performers from the mid 90's.

The most important thing you should always keep in mind is, that those lists you're quoting are only opinions of one or more people. There's a good number of people who disagree with them, just as there's a good number of people (such as yourself) who think that this movie was complete garbage. Everyone has a right to an opinion, you should respect that, just as much as I respect yours.

Just remember that no movie ever made depicts real life to 100% accuracy. It would simply be too boring.

No, I don't. I made myself quite clear already.

Taking the thread seriously? Hell no, I am just making ironic comments about the movie, and not about you or your opinions, so please don't take it personally!
