It is VERY SECURE. I know someone whose been using it since 2009 when I did internet predator tracking on a few sites in the past http://www.nowlive.com and http://www.livevideo.com where hackers and stalkers used to hang out and trace people. Everyone got traced to their front door.....until Smile

I'm currently working with a friend outside the country about a severe domestic abuse problem going on in my family too because of the bureaucracy between the cops and the criminal. They used it to send an e-mail to the cops with an ultimatum. The cops falsely accused me of sending the e-mail because they couldn't trace where it originally came from Smile so they blamed it on me because my nieces mother who is an accomplice to her "Boyfriends" sociopathic criminal behavior claimed it was me because they claimed "I had it in for them since they got together."

Sorry to burst your bubble but TOR isn't as secure as its said. There are certain ways that allow people to track you down and find you. These ways, however, aren't known that much and I have never really seen them being used by police etc.

The next thing about TOR is, that its SLOW. And I mean hell slow. This is because of how it works... its not something you would want to use 24/7.

If you want to be really anonymous, get a VPN. Chained proxy, connect to TOR with this VPN and chained proxy and don't connect from home, but from some public wifi.
Remember, you are never 100% anonymous.
Staff will never ever ask you for your personal information.
We know everything about you anyway.
