I have three solutions.

- Make several different chest. Put them in the open and put one underground. And put it in the wall or something and place a torch there.
- Move far North or South. As I did. 45 minute trip come at me.
- Make traps. Look up some stuff on youtube.

You can but you would have to travel for like 30 minutes. Maybe 45 on foot.
