Which is a beautiful thing because this is the reason professionals get paid out the ass. Seeing as you quoted amateur you probably think you're pretty good, you have a long way to go my friend and the biggest step is being able to tell what IS good and what ISN'T good as a designer, set your standards high and practice till you know its good. As a web designer i just keep checking up on the newest trends and every time i see something better then i previously deemed GOOD i set my standards higher and don't consider anything i do good until it meets those standards, ya feel me.
