My water got shut off a shitload as a kid but they shut off my water one time.
I had to remind them that I had no lights for a week (Which wasn't my fault).
It came back on later that day.

I've had that happen to me several times, and you don't realize how dependent you are on water until It's not there.
Having a shower, brushing your teeth and even flushing the toilet, Is a major Inconvenience without water.
