For PlayStation 4 owners, the Call of Duty: WWII private beta is almost here, and now it’s available to preload.
If you placed your pre-order digitally through the PlayStation Store, you should be able to download the full beta. If you pre-ordered at a different retailer, you’ll need to activate your token from that retailer first (if you don’t have a token yet, check your messages and email—Activision is currently in the process of sending them out).
For those looking to play the beta on Xbox One, there’s no word yet on when you’ll be able to preload. Given that the Xbox One beta doesn’t start until a week after the PS4 version, though, it may be a bit of a wait.
If you don’t want to pre-order the game to join the beta, a second way to join has just opened up. Those who subscribe to Comcast’s Xfinity Internet service can request a code through the Xfinity site. As long as the request is made before August 31st, you should be able to jump in to the beta.

The beta will have three maps, three modes, and a preview of the new War gameplay mode on display. The beta opens first for PlayStation 4 players on August 25th at 10 a.m PT, and runs until August 28th. It opens again at 10 a.m. PT on September 1st for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players, and runs until September 4th.
The full game launches on November 3rd for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
