Oh my god! I've been trying to remember what this was called for months! I hadn't seen your reply. This was an awesome show. I loved it and didn't want it to be over. The emotions were high with this one though TT_TT I may have to re-watch it.

Yeahp. I get this all the time, and I like to call it Post-Anime Depression.

It's cheesy af, but the first anime I watched was "Zero No Tsukaima" and I was in a very...weird spot in life. After that anime finished, there was a void which I definitely did not expect, which probably made it the most 'memorable' void.

Otherwise, Steins;Gate made me so depressed after I watched it :'(. Damn I love those characters, I should really rewatch that show.

I remember crying after my Anohana binge-watching. I never admitted it to myself though. Lol.

Used to hate anime until I sat down and watched this. Got me into the whole thing, and I'm glad it did. Used to think anime was pretty much all naruto/pokemon/SAO kinda stuff, so I wasn't sure I was going to like it, and I still don't watch regularly - I'll bang out a season of something once every month or so - but I appreciate it now.

Same. Sakurasou, Toradora, Nichijou, Barakamon, Chunibyo;
All pretty cheesy anime, all left me sad when finished. I usually rewatch them if I'm feeling really low, because you always notice new things when you watch it over.

I watched it too and felt exactly the same. There's such an emotional journey right at the end.

I love rewatching. I get to a stage though where I forget what it felt like to watch it for the first time.

Yeah, I usually just remember how I felt about the show.
For the most part, rewatching the cheesy romantic anime that I watch is still a really fresh experience because, from what I've seen, they have REALLY good character development. Even though I know that eventually they kiss at the end, that doesn't stop the voice in my head from yelling "Kiss, god damn it!" in the middle of a rewatch.
Nostalgia is probably a major drive, but if it's a good show by default, it's a valid excuse. Same for any TV Show/Movie/Book; each has so much content packed into it that you'll see new stuff every time, so the worth is there.

The most emotionally intense moment I've had is this one from Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse.

A simple act of kindness is more meaningful to someone who has never experienced it. I really did cry on this one, it was such a bitter sweet moment.

This is very true. I love it when you rewatch and suddenly see little clues they left everywhere and you're like "I see what you did there! Wink "

Nostalgia is usually my main reason to rewatch.

Right? I usually do this with movies/shows that have huge plot twists, and you see that they left the whole thing right under your nose. It makes me want to jump into a mystery movie/novel and try to predict the ending before it's revealed.
