With Keanu continuing his role, I can't imagine this being anything other than excellent. Love that they used Alice in Wonderland and White Rabbit for the trailer.

I am really bummed out that Laurence Fishburne was not even invited to reprise his role. Even a cameo would have been enough.

...I hope they are keeping something a secret, but if not then it is really unfortunate.

I don't doubt he'd be happy to play Morpheus again, but Matrix Online made it impossible. Spoilers in that link.

If you took all of the Matrix branding and the word Matrix out of that trailer, it would take me a good minute to figure out what the movie actually was. It didn't feel like the Matrix. It just feels like the average action movie nowadays. Nothing is practical, everything is overblown with CGI.

Personally, one Matrix would have been enough.

This is why I loved The Expendables. Stallone hates CGI. Alot of Expendables was practical effects.

On a more related note, the Wachowski brother are now the Wachowskis sisters. Not saying its gonna be some shit where Neo now has pronouns, but if it is, I wont be surprised.
