I understand why people might not like the idea of the government spying on them, but you all should know that the government can't do anything some random hacker couldn't do. Encrypt sensitive communications, be smart.

I see your point, however the government will have resources that no one else can possess. Makes them dangerous... However, if there is a random hacker out there with absolutely amazing skills (as I'm sure there is) he could do the same. pretty close at least.
