The Betting System: Live
TL;DR: The Betting System is live. You can go waste your SP now.

One of the features I was asked quite a bit to add was the Betting System. If you check /newpoints.php, you'll see that it is now there!


[ What does it have? ]

The Betting System has multiple features, including 1v1 betting, High Roller, and a new lottery system. The previous lottery system was removed as well. There is also a statistics page so you can check how much you've won. Also, this should also bring some activity to the Betting section.


[ How do they work? ]

1v1 betting works a lot like flipping a coin. Two members decide they want to make a bet and the winner is determined by the system. The winner receives the other person's points (along with the points they bet).

High Roller works a bit differently. You don't bet against members, but instead against the system. Although the probability of winning might change, currently there is a 30% chance of winning. However, if you win, you get 3x the amount back.

The new Lottery works a lot like it used to. However, now you may only purchase a single ticket. The price may be changed, but it is currently 100 SP. The winner receives the points spent on all tickets, as before.
