I believe there isn't the best gaming console of all time, because, as you mentioned yourself, video games continue to evolve. Future consoles will likely outperform everything we've got now. I most enjoy my PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. I find Playstation a little more entertaining. But let me add that I can replicate the best gaming experience on PC and more. I wouldn't consider a PC as a console, but it sure can act as one. And if it does, it's the best. Of course, it's not the best of all time because I've to change or upgrade the PC, too, a few times a year to keep up with the experience.

On a powerful enough computer, you can emulate any console games, even exclusive titles. That's why I wrote my favorit gaming platform isn't a console but my gaming computer.
