Wondering who here has seen The Babadook and what there thoughts on it are? I've gotten some hate for this on Cinema Discussions groups but meh, here's my opinion on it:

It's a decent movie but the main characters are very annoying, the ending tried too hard to be original and in return was rushed and underwhelming, and most importantly, the bababdook regularly used the dragon screech noise from Warcraft 2 (an exact rip of the noise) and hence I couldn't stop laughing at times when it was meant to be scary, the first two acts were a decent buildup, but the third act was just ridiculously bad.
