The Amnesic Incognito Live System #1
Quote:The Amnesic Incognito Live System or Tails is a Debian-based Linux distribution aimed at preserving privacy and anonymity. It is the next iteration of development on the previous Gentoo based Incognito Linux distribution. All its outgoing connections are forced to go through Tor, and direct (non-anonymous) connections are blocked. The system is designed to be booted as a live CD or USB, and leaves no trace on the machine unless explicitly told to do so. The Tor Project has provided most of the financial support for development.

So, how safe is this?
Anybody has used it?

Looks pretty cool. I don't use VPNs often because I'm not talented as a technical hacker, just a social engineer.

Random note: I have to disagree with your signature @FZEROX. I believe that when learning anything you should take your time and master one skill at a time. Just random thing I felt like I needed to say. Confusedmile:

Far as i can tell this is the only difference..
Liberté is the first Linux distribution to ship with a Secure Boot-based trusted boot chain. The trusted chain starts with a KEK / DB CA root, which can be enrolled into UEFI Secure Boot firmware. The certificate signs GRUB EFI images (via an embedded intermediate certificate), which verify GRUB configuration files and the Linux kernel. Initramfs (embedded into kernel image) then verifies the compressed root filesystem image.

All verification failures are non-fatal, but need to be explicitly circumvented by the user, who must either disable Secure Boot, confirm verification failure in GRUB, or exit the debug shell in initramfs — depending on the chain stage at which the failure occurs.

With regular BIOS-based Syslinux boot, only the last stage (root filesystem verification) is performed. However, a minimal bootstrap .iso image (lacking a compressed root filesystem) is provided, which can be burned to read-only media and used to boot a regular install of Liberté on writable media.
