I prefer texting it's cheaper than calling and I feel I have more time to think of what I'm gonna say.

It all depends on my situation. If I'm doing something like posting on forums or doing something that requires a lot of my attention like reading I prefer texting but if I'm not doing anything important like on an imageboard or something I'll probably just call someone.
I also prefer calling someone if I want to make plans because it's just easier than going back and forth for 5 minutes texting.

Growing up without a mobile phone until I was about 20, I was so used to talking on the phone because it was the only option I ever had. When this whole "texting" thing started getting popular, I hated it. Now its 8 years later and I find myself texting more than talking. I guess I've embraced it, but I'll still just call someone if I feel a text convo is taking too long. You can be texting back and forth for an hour when you could have accomplished the same conversation verbally in 5 minutes.

Well, to be honest I am not really into texting. I think it does have a purpose, for example an emergency situation where you are unable to talk on the phone. Also, it can come in handy with the hearing impaired community. However, for me its not something I do, or think I will ever do on a regular basis. I got a cell phone for one reason and that is to stay in contact with my family when I'm away from home.

I also prefer texting over calling. Texting is so easy and you can tell many things in limited words. Considering the cost of calling, texting is also economical.

For work related purposes, I'd prefer talking on the phone to finished conversations clearly with accuracy except if unfamiliar digits and letters are needed I'd text it.
I really hate texting. I text so slow unlike in front of the computer where my keyboard bows to me.
Its better to call for better conversations and the best which I like most is, if you know how to utilize your cell providers promos efficiently
