Hey guys this is a more indepth tutorial on DOXING and SOCIAL ENGINEERING.

As you progress in social engineering, you are going to need information on your target(s). How you go about getting this information is entirely up too you. Hopefully you already have your targets name and an idea of where they live. Maybe a picture, a phone number. But you have a lot of blanks to fill.

Say you have a targets full name and an idea in the state and zip code of which he lives. Run that by Google Maps and see what city that is. Upon doing this, run his name, city, state and zip through yellow/white pages online. You gain a little more detailed information, but you may be trapped with a list. There can be five John Thomas' in the vicinity of Timbuktu. How do you know which one is your man?

Find out for yourself. You have a list of phone numbers, call them. If you are doing a random target, say you are attempting to get information to steal an Xbox Live account, you can call up their house and impersonate a Microsoft representative and ask if they have one or Xbox 360 console in their home. If they say yes, you got the person. This is just an example, what you need to do varies on the situation.

So now you have an address, home phone, city, state, zip, and a full name. If you are lucky, you have a significant others name or a family members name that is living their or he living with. This gives you more opportunity to find more out.

But we have so much info... lets run it through Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Vivo, Hi-5, and all countless names of social networks. Lets go through Craigslist and Monster. Every site online that can have posted information is a target. You can find find SO much out doing this. DOB, cell phone numbers, e-mails, friends, family, job resumes (know what they do and what they are good at), job history, possibly some criminal history, some personal details of what the person likes. Countless things. Run their address through Google Maps and have a view of their house to know the terrain (if applicable).

Now you have address, home phone, cell phone, DOB, city, state, zip, full name, friends, family, e-mails, job resumes, job history, criminal history (to an extent or if any), where they went/go to school, and a lot about their personality. Lets run their e-mail through Google, Yahoo, Bing, AOL, and other search engines. We can find their blogsites, their forum accounts, their other social network accounts we may not have found. We fill in all the blanks. Based on where they live and what kind of car they drive (if we find that out), we can assume how much money they make a year (useful is searching for tax evasion).

We have everything up too SSI numbers, credit card numbers and bank info. We can search public records to find a lot of things out. And we can start to purchase information through sites like Intelius, and get their SSI number. With just this, if we know where their credit cards are from, where their bank is, etc, we can find out bank info and credit card numbers.

Now we have EVERYTHING. Except for email passwords. In which we can attempt to SE him via email with a stealer or keylogger, and maybe even get that. Or answer secret questions and answers. Now what? Well, if he runs the keylogger/stealer, we have succeeded in stealing that XBL account, or finding out if he is cheating. We can commit identity theft and fraud. We can sell his dossier to advertisement and intelligence companies. To clients who want the info. We have them by the balls.

For more advanced tactics... if you can get to the persons residence, you can steal their trash, examine/steal their mail, and examine them. Going through somebodies trash is a GREAT way to find stuff out about them. Its gross, but a lot of people tend to not rip up important information on credit/bank statements, and health care statements, and things of this nature. Stealing their mail, you can find out shit like that. And just watching them, you can learn a lot.

Anyways, hopefully this helped you guys out. As always...
