This trailer unexpectedly had me very invested for the first minute, and then - well, undid all that. I know what Garfield is, but I have a feeling the goofy schtick/genuinely simplistic humour paired with Chris Pratt just sounding like Chris Pratt will get old very expeditiously.

CGI usually ages terribly, but this definitely looks more like Pixar quality. Good list of VAs too, even Samuel Jackson.

The director of The Emperor's New Groove is doing Garfield, so I have some hope but that voice does not capture Garfield. It is too expressive.
