Surface Phone Renders #1
These here are the supposed leaks of the Surface Phones which are being developed by Microsoft, apparently to replace Lumia Phones as business devices.

They look cool and I'm looking forward to getting one if they turn out to be true.

They look cool. I had a Nokia Lumia 625 and another one but to be honest I didn't like them at all.

When they were running Windows 8.1, they were very shitty to say at least. It was full of bugs and crap.
When I upgraded to Windows 10, it was a little bit better, but still it doesn't have near as many options and functionality as Android phones.

My phone even called in the background (out of it self). This is how my parents caught me with Cannabis use, just because I was talking with some friends about cannabis and they heard the whole conversation because my phone was calling them. It didn't even show up in the call log.

I have Lumia 430 still. The Windows 8.1 Denim runs too well on it without any bugs. As for Windows 10 Upgrade, I'm still on the latest build and there aren't any issues that I have encountered so far. Also, the 512MB Ram devices were a terrible choice for rolling the insider preview Windows 10.

Also, the background calling is the first time I'm heating of this box. And I expect Surface Phones to ship a polished version of Windows 10, no bugs or issues whatsoever. I expect Camera to be one of the top notch features.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying ALL windows phones suck. I just say with the 2 devices I had, I had a terrible experience. This was also at least a year/maybe 2? back. The OS wasn't as much updated as now and like you said, my phone was running on 512MB RAM and we all know, in general, Windows uses way more RAM than linux variants.

Maybe Windows just isn't meant to run on phones, but of course with enough effort they could create a nice OS for smartphones.

It's all good mate. I get you. Windows OS wasn't so much improved/stable back in 2014. I have been using Lumia 430 as a secondary phone since last 18 months. Windows uses way less RAM if that's what you mean, over Android. You can literally run Asphalt 8, Dead Trigger or Modern Combat without any issues with just 512MB of Ram.

Also, as the rumors says, the OS to be used on Surface is an improved version of what's currently in there. The thing is that Microsoft isn't open source with their OS which makes it difficult to customize the phone, hence not having a broad audience.

They look like solid phones, unfortunately, they will most likely be running Windows 10.

Yes, they will. Microsoft seems to be focus on the platform unification so I guess that Redstone will be the latest build we get to see on those devices.

I currently own a Lumia device and for my usability, I love It.

These phones look quite promising and very appealing. It'll be very Interesting to see their physical side, specs and their overall stability and functionality.

It looks like a cool concept but I doubt it will look anything like that if it ever comes out, as well as I would never spend my money on that as long as they stick to their terrible Windows Phone. The lack of apps is just a dealbreaker and doing a lot of tasks on Windows Phone isn't even possible.

All phones are shit to me, I have a Galaxy S6 Edge.

It already has a poor battery life after only two months Sad
