Glad to hear that you've got it sorted! I've suffered hearing loss since birth but it's not really that bad, although I used to wear hearing aids as a kid but I live a relatively normal life now (If only I had a girlfriend!). If you ever have any more of these odd hearing losses feel free to send me a message, I'll do my best to reassure you!

Slowly been getting a wooshing sound for my ears.
Once in a while I get a very loud ringing for a few seconds, before it fades out.
I've been wearing headphones non-stop for the last 2-3 years. Literally putting them on first thing when I wake up, and only taking them off when going to bed.
I feel like I'm getting tinnitus, but I'm scared to go to see the doctor because they might confirm this with me.
Better to live in the unknowingly bliss.

Oh, it's terrible, my friend has completely lost his hearing. And the process of losing it was very slow, so he also mentioned it very late. Now he doesn't hear anything without a hearing aid. Doctors say that the reason is only his genetics, his parents have hearing problems as well, but fortunately, they are not deaf. I think that the fact that he listened to very loud music made the situation worse. And even with the hearing aid, life did not become normal again. He needs [link redacted] very often because the ear wax closes the entry of the aid.

I been living with tinnitus for the last 5 years or so. It's there 24/7. At first It was scary and quite concerning, but I'm used to It now - It has become a way of life.

Don’t search the internet for answers, and waste no time. Go straight to the hospital and find o it what’s going on as it can be something that gets worse with time. You don’t want the hearing to end up loss permanently. Wish you the best and hope you get well.
