So I got my new computer for Christmas! First thing I did was install steam, now here is the problem I need a verification code from my email to use my account!
I never had to do this on my old computer because I never did log out.

I can't recover, log in, or anything!! If Anyone has any suggestions of what I could do, I had like 100$ in games GTA4 ,ARMA2 ,Fallout:New Vegas..

Yeah I could download a torrent for the games easily, but Iv already had emails saying we could be sued for copyright infringement. (That's my problem tho)

Log in to the email.

Most emails have the option if you forgot your password.

Everyone has to do this when logging in to Steam from a new PC, just go to your email and get the log in code.

You can do this I think. Steam Guard doesn't like VPNs, so if you have a VPN turn it off.

I need to answer security questions and im stupid and just mashed me keyboard for them lol, thats why but yes I will go on my old comp and turn off steam guard thankyou everyone!

Glad you solved that. Personally I hate Steam Guard, but it protects you immensely.
