High

I've been here less than an hour and already have a warning for starting up an old thread that I thought was worth commenting in ...

I'm a bit gun-shy at this point and look forward to only commenting in the really popular threads.

and how was your day Smile

Sooo

May I ask which thread. If you really thought it was worth rebooting the thread and have a valid reason like something that actually contributes to the thread you will probably be able to dispute it, but if its something like "Wow, great thread" its not worth commenting on, and was most likely you trying to hit 25 posts.

As long as the post is within the last 2 pages or if you have something really helpful to post on it, I don't really think it would matter, but if you're just going to post "thnx for the share man" or something like that don't bother.

First I was trying to get to my 25 posts.
I was looking at articles that I had some interest in and commenting in them.
One that was removed was in Programs from Feb 2014
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard 64-bit free of cost
I mentioned that instead of using a bulk key that can be blocked by M$ you could sign up for a .edu email address at:
California Colleges
and the go over to:
Dreamspark
and get a product key for yourself that is legitimate.

I appreciate the MOD that chatted with me about this as they were quite nice for my first offence and let me know it would be better responding to newer posts.
I guess I could just make a new thread about the software but I was trying to stick to an existing thread.

I think I also made a crap post too but I won't mention more about that.

The internet rules are always applicable. most appropriate here:
8. There are no real rules about posting.
19. The more you hate it, the stronger it gets.

TEEN LICKS ENTIRE NYC SUBWAY HANDRAIL FOR $1

I so want to comment in the above thread but as it was resurected by us NSFW goobs and that type of behavior is offending the old folks I will resist,

and post it here where it will only offend those that stop in my little corner of the site.

There's nothing wrong with making a new thread, as long as you have something to say about it and aren't rehashing what was already said before.

That said, if you plan on staying a while even after reaching the NSFW section, just be mindful right now - everyone's a bit on edge for people bumping old threads, making poop comments, and so on. Maybe even consider getting a nicer name if you reach 500 SP? :p

I was hoping that you guys would settle this sooner rather than later, but it's obvious that it's becoming increasingly worse the more this lets on. The point of an introduction thread is so that any new member can feel welcome to the forum, for one reason or another. Bashing and arguments like these will definitely not help to that cause.

I'm cleaning up this thread. Any arguments or disputes should be settled over PM - if you guys have any problems with a particular member, you can always PM me, @Oni, or @Customer. If you have problems with a particular post, report it .

Now that that's all cleared up, welcome to the forum! Stay active and HQ so JLaw brings us at least some benefit.
