As time looms closer to the launch of God of War: Ascension next week, a new two player co-op mode was unveiled by Sony. The new mode is called Trial of the Gods. In this new mode, you will face five tough waves of mythological creatures such as Satyrs, Cerberuses, and Cyclops while time runs out on the hourglass of Olympus. The mission is to get through all five waves without time running out or dying.

Three maps will be available to play Trial of the Gods upon the launch. You can also play on multiplayer and earn XP.

God of War: Ascension will be available on March 12th in North America and March 15th in Europe.
