Some White-Hat tools and their functions... #1
In this thread i will post some of the ways to protect yourself from different attack on the internet. First i will provide some tools (from the official web-sites) that can help you improve your Computer's security.

Tools that can help you protect or disinfect yourself from different types of malwares/viruses

- Malwarebytes -

Using this tool, you can scan your PC for almost every type of malwares/viruses. When the scan ends, you'll receive Log File. You can submit that Log File to anyone that knows how to explore the Log. The Log File is a .txt that contains the results of the scan. This tool also helps you destroy the malware.

- Process Hacker -

This is a tool similar to Task Manager. It shows all the processes, outgoing connections, incoming connections and much more.
The Difference is, that this tool provides more informations about the processes. You can Set Process Priority, Kill Process, Trace File.....
If your infected with R.A.T this is easiest way to spot it and destroy it.

- CCleaner -

One of the best qualities of this program is that you can manage startups. With that you can also trace the infected file and you can Enable/Disable startup key. It's also useful to fix Registry Errors. You can use it do safely Uninstall other aplications too.

- Firewalls -

Firewalls are used to block attacks from the internet and in/out connections(and also trace their IP).The most used Firewall programs are ZoneAlarm and Comodo Firewall. I recommend Comodo Firewall

- HijackThis -

Trend Micro HijackThis is a free utility that generates an in depth report of registry and file settings from your computer. HijackThis makes no separation between safe and unsafe settings in its scan results giving you the ability to selectively remove items from your machine. In addition to this scan and remove capability HijackThis comes with several tools useful in manually removing malware from a computer.

- Avira AntiVirus -

Avira is the Best free antivirus program. We all know what antivirus programs are for Smile They are scaning our PC for suspecious files/applications and destroy it. Almost every computer has an antivirus program. I suggest Avira coz of their big detection database.
