As with most V8s, fuel consumption Is an Issue.

Is the motor a 4.6L small-block?

As for driving with gears , you will get used to it , its hard at first but it becomes automatic. Do you need to do a different / new driving licence to drive manual over there? In the uk you can drive auto or manual if you pass in a manual car. But only autos if you pass in a auto car.

Yep.

I owned a 5.7L 350 Chev (known as a Holden Monaro In my locality), and that drank worse than a full-blown alcoholic.

It didn't look anywhere as good as your Mustang though.

Easiest way to learn is let the clutch out slowly till you feel it start pulling then give her a little gas then let her out a bit faster once you get going good let it out all the way.

Now if you wanna roast tires rev that bitch up to 4000rpms and pop that clutch but I don't advise unless in 6 months you wanna replace clutch

I used to have a 1995 Pontiac Trans Am Formula v8 5.7L borded over 30 with open headers and 4.10 gears in the back that bitch got it Smile

With stalling, most likely you're pulling up that clutch too fast. The advice on here is pretty sound. I used to struggle on hill starts with the clutch, since I'd pull up too fast when anxious about rolling back. I'd suggest getting a little practice with finding what we call "the biting point" for the clutch, until you are able to find it instinctively.

And I can confirm it's true about the UK license thing - if you learn in an auto, you're not qualified for manual. I am pretty shocked that's not true here too, since it requires more multitasking to do. However, once you get used to it, you'll do it as second nature.

5 seconds. Fuel economy is horrible, but still, it's a fucking muscle car.

You'd beat me by a fair distance in a race. A hell of a car. Not a fan of the newer Mustang styles but a hell of a car none the less.

The newer mustangs with the sequenced turn signals and all the bells and whistles? Or the Mustangs past the 90s era?

Anything past the 93 Mustang is just meh for me. Just not a fan of the design
