Afternoon Sinister,
I was just wondering if anyone here has been Skydiving before, reason being is that a supposedly good friend of mine bought him and i tickets.
I interested in going with him, i'd just like some information health wise. Is it safe or are their any side effects? the last thing i want to do is die from jumping out of a plane.
Let me know.

Never heard of anyone being injured or dying from skydiving. Just follow directions and don't be stupid. If you have heart issues you might not want to, but that also goes for caffeine and a lot of other things.

One of my family members has motion sickness and hit the landing rails and their way out started flipping in the air but she made it safely down so you should too.

Would never do that in my life.
I've had heart issues and had LIVE or DIE surgery. So I am pretty sensitive with adrenaline. My heart would probably abandon me through my anus... and I would probably faint in the middle of the air because of panic attack also I'm afraid of heights.
Although couple of my friends have been skydiving and said it is pretty awesome that sticks with you for the rest of your life.
So as @Oni said if you don't have any issues with heart. Would add Panic attacks/Anxiety to that then you should definitely go for it.

If you have medical concerns related, always consult a doctor, not the internet.
Short of having a bad one, they'll know if you're healthy enough to be doing any sort of activity.
OT: Have not gone sky diving yet. Will be in the future however.
