Okay, I wrote this in quickness, and I was mainly writing it to someone that wasn't as good with computers as I am. I starred out the name of the teacher for obvious reasons. My school laptop is really the only way for me to get online, as my dad is a prick, and takes my phone, and personal laptop.

My dad caught me up in the middle of the night last night. He changed our wifi password last weekend, so I got on our iMac, and shared its internet connection with my laptop, so he flipped out about that, so he was like, I'm done with this crap, I'm taking it up there to make sure that you aren't doing stuff you aren't supposed to. So, when we got up to the school, Mrs. *** 's first question was, is it a VPN you have on there? So I told her yes, and she was about to give it to the guy that knows the real admin password on the laptop, well, that was when I flipped, because I realized that he was about to find out anyways as I changed the main admin account password. So I nicely asked Mrs. *** to talk to her in private, well, I came clean as fuck with her. I told her that when we first got the laptops last year, that they put the "plist" which is what killed the applications every 10 seconds, in a directory that any account had write access to, and I was able to type a command into notes, then copy/paste it into terminal, and that command would unload the "plist", then, once that was done, the applications wouldn't close at all. I then went and found a "root exploit kit" for that version of mac which would then allow me to get an admin account. I then deleted forticlient/net, which is the program they had on there to block websites, and watch our activity, but Mrs. *** stopped me at  the whole "root exploit kit" thing and got the other guy in there. They kinda flipped out, and were very surprised, they were calling me very smart, and he was talking about how he was going to have me come in and help them with that kind of stuff. Then he went on to talk about how in jurassic park, "Just because you/I can, doesn't mean you should", so he wanted me to understand that. He gave me my laptop back, and told me to get anything off it that I needed, and bring it back tomorrow morning, and they are going to reset my laptop back to normal. He was very happy that I was honest with him. I literally was barely able to talk. So, I guess that's somewhat a plus on my resume.
Now, what does this all mean about me being gone on SL you may ask? I am not 100% sure if SL is blocked with their program or not. Even if its not, I'm not too sure that I want to be getting on here, since they can see my activity, and I'm pretty sure that they are going to be watching me heavier than ever from now on. I am a senior now, do I don't plan on being gone for more than about 9-10 months. I am going to try my best for my dad to give me my personal laptop back, or even my phone. I really hate this so much, as I love SL, and am going to miss it a lot. When I turn 18 in march, I'm going to make my dad give me my laptop back if he hasn't already. He technically is somewhat able to take it from me atm, as I didn't purchase the laptop myself, my grandmother gave it to me. If he is to say "No, I'm selling it", I might just file a damn lawsuit on his ass, as I 100% doubt my grandmother would allow him to do that, and I really think she is just going to ask for it back, and just give it back. I wish every single person currently, and in the future here on Sinisterly a amazing time in life!

Don't be silly, you're not filing a lawsuit on anyone. Clever workaround for the laptop, though. If you need a cheap means of accessing the web, perhaps consider a Raspberry Pi or a budget build. I'd consider buying you one myself, if cost is a problem. I made Sinisterly in my senior year of highschool, so it's disappointing to hear you can't even retain internet access.

You're going through quite a bit of Issues with your dad, and that's not good for the both of you. Just remember he Is your father and would never do anything to Intentionally harm or put a negative Impact on his child.

If you seek other measures In getting Internet access (thereby going against his wishes), It will only exacerbate matters. Try and sort It out amicably, within reason and reach some sort of mutual agreement. As opposed to an angry approach, you'll be surprised what a calm and peaceful conversation can achieve.

So, I am back, this could be temporary, im not really sure. I saw someone using an application called AnyDesk on their school laptop, and they were remoted into their home PC, so that gave me the idea that I could just ask a friend to lend me one of his, and he said yes. So, I have discord on here, and I can now be back on SL!
