as far as i am aware the quaran only speaks specifically about wine and that it is haram because it is intoxicating. whether other recreational drugs is intoxicating, and therefore forbidden is a matter of interpretation. I dont agree that weed and pyschadelic drugs make me lose control of my faculties or behavior so i do a shit ton of them
Oh shit whaddup!

If u are muslim so shouldn't use it, Because it's harm of your health and u economic. And our Prophet said that you shouldn't use any thing that u think it's harm of u.

Almost all belief systems offer a rejection of drug abuse at some level. This is simply because many people cannot achieve high levels of functionality under the influence of narcotics. The same rationale drives food proscription in the major world faiths, because at the time they were written the foods that they forbade were difficult to prepare in a nutritious (i.e. nonpathogenic) way.
I cannot speak for Islam since I do not embrace its teachings, but it seems like their public position lines up with everyone else's. Ask an individual Muslim and perhaps you silly stoners will become friends.

I have a Muslim friend who smokes weed and drinks alcohol. He told me that while he isn't religious, he knows plenty of religious Muslims who do drugs but don't drink. We both agreed that it's a silly practice because clearly when the Quran was written they just didn't know about pot or LSD so obviously they couldn't forbid it. But it's quite clear that whoever forbade booze would probably oppose any other drugs, had he been aware about them.

I know many muslims, also muslim friends that do drugs and smoke weed and all that. I prefer not to, and stay away from that kind of stuff. Most of the school i used to goto were muslims and more than half smoke weed and such.

It's not my place to say nor am I spiteful towards your friends, but generally speaking, they're probably not the type who abide by their religion.

I'm saying this because I used to have Muslim friends many years ago, and whilst they were Muslim by name, they weren't Muslim by character. As a result, they were somewhat similar In nature to what you've described above.
