From what I've heard, people tend to use MAC's for GFX, personally I don't think there's a lot a MAC can do that a Windows laptop can't do. MAC's are (in my opinion) also very overpriced, you pay a lot for less (compared to a Windows laptop). Also don't go for Alienware or some shit because they're overrated and overpriced as well.

Quick tip: if you're going to buy a Windows laptop check wheter the motherboard supports UEFI booting. If you're sure it supports that, you'll always be able to install OSx afterwards. Maybe even dual-booting it (do not recommend this though).
