Seattle PD protest last day before being fired over Vaccine mandate

On Monday, October 18th the vaccine mandate for Seattle area police officers will go into effect. Those choosing not to get the vaccine will not immediately be fired, pending something called a “Loudermill hearing” where police can present their reasonings for not taking the vaccine before they are fired.

However, these hearings will likely be nothing more than a sideshow before masses of police officers are fired. On Sunday, one day before the mandate takes effect, some Seattle PD were protesting the mandate with the Gadsden flag.

I understand the mandate but that aside, I fail to see the logic behind anti-vaccine Individuals. They'd rather lose their jobs and a lot more, than take a 10 second jab.

If they had a medical condition that required a life-saving vaccine to be administered, they'd have no hesitation In raising their sleeves. COVID vaccination Is no different - It can potentially save lives.

People refuse a 10 second jab because mandatory vaccines have never been required in our nation. It is an overstep of medical tyranny, and Americans are all about fighting tyranny. Hence why it says in the constitution if your government becomes tyrannical, overthrow them.

As said, I understand the mandate and also agree with what you've stated.

However In my view, health comes first and refusing to protect one's self due to tyranny, the government or any other related entity, Is not very wise. I, for one, prioritize my health over the government's (and anyone's) stance with the pandemic. That's simply my opinion, others may beg to differ.
