Even so, If It's rebuilt poorly, It'll be worse off than It's previous state.
What's to stop It from derailing? You have a very valid point. I wish someone could answer that definitively.
Because they are complex machines, it is a ton of little things together that would keep it from derailing.
Big ones are keeping the wheels/rollers in good repair, keeping track free of debris, ensuring no warping.
Since this is a hanging inverted coaster, forces pull at the connection between gondola and track differently, so keeping up on repairs with that is tantamount.
Also, to those on about surviving at high speed, did you even look at what they ride in? If anything that design probably is what saved them, assuming the ride was at top speed in the first place, which isn't stated.
