So i recently have been scammed (and it's completely my fault for being gullible) and I lost a substantial amount of money. The people that have done this scam seem to have used a real bank account (whether it is theirs or not) to do so. I have the account number, routing number and name of the person that apparently have caused me this issue and I wanted to know if there was anything that you guys could suggest i should do in regards to this.

If you can objectively display how you were scammed, I'd just contact the bank and let them know someone is commiting fraud. Depending on the amount, it might just be worth it... Chances are the person's done it before.

Contact the bank and make a written complaint. Some countries do require a police complaint too and probably they will do independent investigation with the help of their cybersecurity cell. In any case, I doubt if you can retrieve your lost amount unless the scammer is caught. If your bank account is insured, I believe there are chances of recovering your money.
