Check out Mitcnick's books, including The Art Of Deception (https://smile.amazon.com/Art-Deception-C...B006BBZHAK) and Ghost in the Wires (https://smile.amazon.com/Ghost-Wires-Adv...0316037729)
Ghost in the Wires is more story with SEing in it (demonstrates exactly where you'd use techniques though), and The Art of Deception is mostly information. There's also Social Engineering: The Art of Human Hacking (https://smile.amazon.com/Social-Engineer...0470639539), which IIRC I had once but didn't end up reading.

Those Into SEing, should definitely read these.

I've read The Art Of Deception and parts of The Art of Human Hacking, and enjoyed every paragraph.
