SCP is a website that emulates a secret organization that attempts to secure anomalous objects, contain cautionary items and protect the general populace from hostile, alien wares. Basically, they're short stories, but some are so well written out that you'd think they were actually true.

Some of you may already have heard stories from the site, or even heard of the exploration-horror game that was released based off of it, SCP Containment Breach. Many of the entities in the game originally came from these tales, most notably SCP-193.

If you have any spare time, I'd like to welcome you to share which items and stories you'd consider to be your favorites, or top picks. If you have trouble starting where to read, I'd suggest the top rated pages. Some notable ones I'd suggest reading:


SCP 914 - An impossible clockwork device that is capable of "fine-tuning" anything that the user inserts into it.

SCP-895 - An anomalous coffin that doesn't directly affect the people it, but causes horrific and psychological hallucinations to anyone that views its video feed.

SCP-1440 - A man who has literally cheated Death, and has misfortune and calamity follow wherever he goes as consequence and revenge from Death itself.

SCP-342 - A ticket that causes the user, when boarding a vehicle of any sort, to become inexplicably unable to leave the automotive, until it spirits them away.
