Review of OpenBSD? 06-25-2019, 02:47 PM

Hey,
I've been a full-time GNU/Linux users for a few years now. That being said, I've always been a bit fascinated with the BSDs, namely OpenBSD.
OpenBSD's dedication to security, standardization, correctness, and cryptography have always appealed to me. That being said, I'm very comfortable with the GNU core utilities, and I find the Linux Standard Base (https://refspecs.linuxfoundation.org/lsb.shtml) specification to be very well-tested.
I'm thinking about using OpenBSD for a side project. With that said, what are your thoughts on BSD culture at large, and specifically OpenBSD?
Cheers
