You're joking about the army right? If you're planning not to be an officer go into the air force, or the navy, better benefits, home more often, and safer honestly. They might even station you in Hawaii

Thank you so much for the genuine responses; it's nice to see that individuals within the SF community actually treat one-another with respect and show that they care. I wouldn't have expected to receive the same responses if I were to have posted this thread on HF or LF.
