Didn't want to hijack the Silent Hill thread too much, so here's a new topic for Resident Evil Biggrin

Looks like there's a few RE fans here, so what's your favourite game in the series so far? Fav character?

I love every single game up until 5.

My favourite characters are Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield.

Jill because she's so god damn cute and I would lick her pixels from head to toe if I could and she was a big part of my childhood.

Claire because Code Veronica: X is my top three favourite Resident Evil games of all time, possibly my favourite.

Agreed with you there Tree. I'd say Resident Evil 3 is my favourite because Jill is kick ass and I absolutely love The Nemesis. I've played it plenty of times but still get that 'oshitoshitoshit' feeling when he's chasing after you in the police station xD

2 is good, and I enjoyed 4 as well. 4 wasn't as 'survival horror' as I would have liked it to be, but it was still fun. CV:X is a great game too... though sadly I never got around to fully completing it <<

I can't tell you how much times I nearly pissed myself the first time going through three, I'd say that game is probably the best at giving the feeling of suspense and at some times it's more of a crisis game when you're running away from Nemesis.

Oh yeah CVX is a looooong game, it took me around 3 and a half hours to complete it even after I've beaten it two times prior.

I get adrenaline rush playing zombie games and also zombie movies. Anyway I haven't played it, but I would like too. Anyway I'm a bit addicted to zombies, I even imagine them being real. :\

If you want a recommendation on what game to play first I would say buy Code Veronica from the xbox marketplace for 1600msp or go get one of the games for gamecube because all of them are good. Don't play Resident Evil 4 because it's not like any of the older ones, they're the best.

@Tree: I remember getting very close to end yeaaars ago but I saved at a rather dumb spot just before a boss and had very little supplies/health/ammo so I was doomed. I really need to try playing it again.

@Oversoul: If you have a GameCube I'd definitely recommend the games, especially the REmake Smile
