A Redditor who goes by the name /u/dieselcopperfield has made a web app which mimics the NHS app.
Do check it out:
https://hack-and-trace.xyz (It only looks good on mobile)
The website can currently do the following:
- Decrypt NHS barcodes and display a fake 'successful check-in' page
- Generate NHS vaccine passports
Definitely worth a look. I have found it very useful, myself.

Are we pasting our private details like Full Name and DOB and Address, etc. in public now?
I would think people would have better OPSEC than this in 2000+20+1.

No information is stored on the server in order for this to work. It's all in a unique base64 url string at the end of the URL.

Well if no information is stored and this is just some b64 generation, they could have just made it in JS instead of using a backend (where we can't see what they'll do with the datas anyway).
