RE: My New Build #2
Its not a bad starter build, what did you spend on it?

my build:
Code:
AMD FX-8370 8-core, 5.1GHz
Cooling: Arctic Freezer 360 water radiator
Memory: 32GB HyperX Fury DDR3-1866MHz dual channel (clocked to 8-10-9-26-36)
Graphics: AMD Radeon RX480 4GB (with liquid cooling loop)
PSU: Some 650W thing I found laying around
Hard Drive: Samsung 960 Pro 512GB M.2 NVMe
Spent about $1,150 on mine, worth about $1,300 now that the graphics card is rare.

Not too bad Indeed. Shame It's not running an SSD.

That looks like a very decent build. I'm getting a new build soon, though I'll probably get the same parts (or semi-same if that exist) as pyhrrus. Just one question, why preassembled?

Thanks, also tried to search appropriate category but it passed my mind Smile

SSD Card on the way on separate order, their prices for SSDs was ridiculous.

I wanted to go with the cheaper way of building one myself, and had all the parts selected, however I decided I can always build later, for now I'd like a decent build which will  would help me for now so pre-assembled was ideal (and I have an liking for shops and their quality work on wiring and finish, which in this looked dope)

Don't get me wrong, my macbook 13" is great for working on (schoo/officel-wise) and organisational. However deep down I'm a windows type-guy.

You're welcome, It's easily overlooked.

The cost of SSDs have come down quite a bit over the last year or so. Once you're running an SSD, you'll wonder how you survived without one. It's one of the best Investments I've made.

RE: Computer Build - Vybe #10
This is my next build when I can actually afford it.

Spoiler:
  • AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 3.4GHz Octa Core (Socket AM4)
  • Gigabyte AB350M-Gaming 3 AMD Socket AM4
  • G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB 3866MHz DDR4
  • Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 Aorus 8GB Graphics Card
  • Samsung EVO 850 1TB 2.5" SATA III SSD
  • Corsair Hydro Series H110i Extreme Performance Liquid CPU

For the GPU I'd probably send it to AlphaCool and get a custom made water cooler for it, more details here.

*Note I am not affiliated with alphacool in anyway, this is not meant to be an advertisement nor is it a recommendation as at this point I haven't actually used AlphaCool's services.
