This idea sparked in my head after reading a thread a bit ago on Wizard Forums

I'm under the impression that there if different Gods in different religions, correct me if I'm wrong. So, what if there isn't any one true God and there is hundreds and they're all competing with each other in a way? My theory is that if you die having faith in on religion or God then you'll move on to the plane of existence that your God represents.

I don't think so. I believe there can only be one God or none at all. I DO believe that there is a God in particular (I'm Christian). According to my faith, your logic is false. I wish I could give more "proof" or ideas behind that but that's really all I can say because it's such a loose topic overall!

It's supposed to be a loose topic. Basically what the thread was meant to do is make everyone think for a minute. I wasn't trying to prove or disprove anything, just to get out a thought I've been having and see if anyone else has anything to add/subtract out of it.

In the Islam, Christian, or in Jew, all gods are the same. Allah = God, Allah is the Arabic name of God. So, there is just one God.

I only believe in one God since I'm a christian. Although sometimes I do get doubts, because of other people's belief. I always wonder what happened to people why they have different religions. I sometimes feel that I don't know who to believe. I also somewhat believe that science and religion have somewhat a connection. :\

No, since it is a discussion you need to hear more perspectives. There are also Hindus, Buddhisms, Atheists, and people from Scientology.
