[Release] Influence Theme #1
[Image: logo.png]

Designed with simplicity in mind, Influence was created with the sole purpose of looking sleek, clean, and
elegant. Being the first theme designed by Recuperare, it will not tailor to fit everyone's needs or desires,
but it does accomplish exactly what it seeks out to do; and that is being clean, efficient, and overall, just
a sexy theme. All of the controls found in Influence are professionally designed, and coded, so you can be
sure that you are getting a great, stable product when you purchase any of Recuperare's themes. If you
are looking for a professional-grade, elegant theme, than look no further, because after experiencing
Influence, you won't want to use anything else.

Influence will come with quite a slew of controls, all of which have been professionally designed and coded.
Of course you will receive the basic controls, meaning you get a form design, a button, a checkbox, a
radiobutton, a progressbar, and a textbox. However, unlike most themes that are on the market right now,
you also get a few more unique controls that not many other themes actually include to allow for a more
complete experience. With Influence, you will also receive a multi-lined textbox, or a textarea, a listbox,
a tabcontrol, a menustrip, a combobox, and a numeric up/down control.

Getting access to Influence is really simple. Unfortunately, Influence is the result of a lot of
hard work, and as such, I have removed some of the controls that weren't as satisfactory
as I would have liked. This is the public version of the theme with a few controls taken out.
Below is the download link to the theme. Please keep in mind that you must give credits if
you use the theme. Failure to do so will just prevent me from wanting to release any more
themes.

Very nice. Did you design it yourself?

Yes I did. Smile Almost all of the themes I just released were designed by me. Smile

It looks really good, but it just looks like a variation of the Ghost theme.

This is nowhere near the Ghost theme. For one, Mava refuses to design using GDI+ and insists on using the ThemeBase to develop, meaning all of his work is a little buggy. On top of that, none of the controls even LOOK the same. None of his code was used and you can be damn sure of that.

Mava is a real asshole. He crowned himself the king of .NET themes on Hack Forums. As soon as somebody else than him releases a theme, he posts something negative about it.

Oh trust me, I know. He hates when I release work, just because it gets popular (which is only because I've had my name in the game as long as I have). I've been doing theming since the VERY beginning, and I actually taught him. And now that I am back in it (after leaving for a year) and after he saw that I didn't lose any of my touch, he got really upset and just hated me for it. Now he has it out that I don't have any real skill in theming and that I don't deserve to be considered a themer, despite having been the one to create innovation in the theming business. (I created the first textbox, first tabcontrol, combobox, listbox, listview, etc.) Now he tries to tell me I have no skill, despite being the one that has code parts in everyone else's work. But it's whatever; I won't get on to him for using anyone else's work and I will go about my day doing what I think I do best. It's not like one guy's hatred for me will hurt me.

Don't be so butthurt, they visually look the same with some minor variations. Calm your coder boner, and accept the fact that you didn't do something extraordinary.

The ironic thing is that Ghost uses some of my code. And no, they look nowhere near similar. Rounding is different, gradients are different, control sizes are different, checkbox and radiobutton checked states are different looking, colors are different, and listbox is completely different. Again I say, nothing is the same. Not butthurt, just don't see it.

@SQLi Trust me, I know. He is a dick.
