As of yesterday, I received my black belt from Rush MMA in Tae Kwon Doe. It was a long road and 5 &1/2 years of work, but I finally did it. I am an accomplished TKD fighter now. I have officially quit TKD training to pursue Muay Thai for my striking now, but I will never forget the hardships I endured for the belt.

I have suffered several broken ribs, a broken orbital bone, several broken knuckles, broken my leg on the base of both tibia several times, broken wrist bones, bones in my hands and fingers, and bones in my ankles and feet, but I accomplished it.

If I had a camera, I would take several pictures in my multiple Gis with my multiple belts. Purple Belt qualification in Judo is up next in February.

I am very proud of this accomplishment. First pro-am MMA fight is scheduled for March 19th in my hometown and I am representing Rush MMA. (Yes I know that my picture has Team Blackhouse on it, but that is my favorite professional team.)
