Razer Headset Blocks Stray Bullet #1
A Razer headset supposedly blocked a stray bullet. Worth mentioning that the bullet probably lost most of its energy upon hitting other objects (i.e. glass), and a direct shot would have obviously penetrated (and killed).

Last Wednesday morning in Torrance, California, an 18-year-old gamer was apparently saved by a Razer headset when it deflected a stray bullet. The shot glanced off their Razer Kraken headset after piercing their bedroom window and ricocheting off a wall. No one was injured in the incident, although the victim reported a lingering headache.

"Hello to everyone who sees this," Enough_Dance_956 wrote in a Reddit post last week. "I'm trying to get a hold of someone at Razer to thank them with all my heart. Wednesday morning at 10:30 am a stray bullet went through my window and hit the Razer headphones on top of my head. If it wasn't for the headphones made with good quality I would've been a dead kid at the age of 18. I couldn't even imagine all the pain my family and friends would've been through."

Wait, are they really going to thank Razer? Why? They didn't do anything. That's like saying that if a piano fell from a building and missed you by inches, you calling the manufacturer of the piano to say they saved your life. They didn't do anything. Their products were very lucky to have saved you. Thank yourself for deciding to game with shitty headphones on. Thank the walls of your home for not being 1mm thinner in that spot or the glass being at a specific angle in the trajectory of the bullet.

Although obviously unintentional, thankfully they manufactured a robust device that ultimately saved his life.

Luckily the guy didn't purchase a cheaper alternative made from flimsy material - It would've been a different outcome. That aside, I understand your point.

Could have been anything, really:

Arguably the poster could thank the window, the wall, or even air (depending on the distance). Even level III and IIIA armor won't stop all rounds.
