So i was just messing around and I decided to rate my own thread and it let me. I feel you should not be able to rate your own because you are obviously going to 5 star it even though it might not be that good of a thread.

There is a quite simple plugin to prevent this.

I second this as anyone could easily give the majority of their threads a 5 star.

If we were to have a system where we'd have to provide a reason as to why our own thread should receive five stars, along with approval from a staff member, then I think that this would work out.

I have added the plug in by Omni to stop people from rating their own threads.
