Today me and my friends were thinking, what if everything and everyone isn't real, it's just made up by our imagination.

Obviously, we know what we think, but we don't know what others think, so how do we know they are actually real and not just created my our minds?

Maybe life is just a test, other people are just like NPCs and it's testing how you cope with life. Each person gets one go, and the results of the test, depends what happen to you next.

We'll never know what other people are always thinking, but imagine it like this: Think about how aware of yourself you are, how much you think and what you do - both voluntary and involuntary actions such as breathing and moving. You always know what you will do because you are you. Now, I know what I will always do and you know what you will always do. Just because you don't know someone's thoughts doesn't make them non-existent.

Now for the text highlighted in bold; You know they are real when everyone can see them. If you have a friend, but nobody else can or will ever see him/her (because its not possible. eg, an imaginary friend) then they are not real. However, because it's possible for me to see my parents, and other people can see my parents, I can conclude that they are real, and not just my imagination.

Yes, but how do you know that you're not just imagining the people that say they see you parents? They don't really see you parents, as your parents don't exist and either do the people who say they see them. They just like everything else in your life, are a figment of your imagation.
