Quarantine Games? #1
I know not everyone will be in actual quarantine, but some form of lockdown at worst, but I imagine many of us are spending significantly more time at home than usual. For some of us, that means delving into video games to our hearts content.

My recent gameplay:
  • Conan Exiles: I've been playing on our server since the server got restarted - See our official Conan Exiles server thread here
  • Runescape: This has been fun with their new skill release, Archaeology. However, I'm currently taking a break from it.
  • War Zone: Well, I attempted to download and play War Zone, but ran into a Directx error. So no joy for me there!

What have you all been playing during your time at home?

In terms of myself, the quarantine/self-Isolation measures, hasn't had any Impact whatsoever with my day-to-day living. Aside from work, I'm at home hitting my systems for 18 hours a day, so It's no different to when the virus wasn't around.

Enough about me. This Is an excellent thread for all you gamers to provide and exchange thoughts, thus help being at home become a lot more Interesting.

I got bored and searched some games to play. When browsing on other sites, I saw an interesting one in Popular section. It's called "Ori and the Will of the Wisps". The screenshot previews looks amazing and I instantly noticed the mode is like LIMBO which also a game I like.
I checked this game on Steam and it just got released. I don't want to download this game for free for some personal reasons so I checked if there are/is prequel game/s. I then found "Ori and the Blind Forest" which was released in 2016. It's almost the same and I got chilled.
I instantly downloaded it and played a little. The graphics, sounds, and emotions. It's a masterpiece! (I haven't even played it when I said that.)
I continued playing it. I really enjoy every second of this game. The easiness and the adrenaline rush are everything. This is the best game ever created. Finished it with satisfying yet emotional ending.
I am looking forward to playing "Ori and the Will of the Wisps" and I hope this one is good as the previous one. Smile

I've seen this game on steam! I believe it's currently on my wishlist. As I'm already playing a lot of games, and have plenty to be doing, I've chosen not to purchase any more games xD I don't have the HDD space for them!

Ive been playing

- COD Warzone
- Valorant

As for your DirectX issue, this is fixable. I had the same issue, and I found a fix. My fix involved me changing something in my regedit.

Forgive me, but I've no idea what regedit is. I looked up a few solutions, but didn't get very far.

It's short for "Registry Editor", that's part of the Windows operating system.

In simple terms and without the tech jargon, It contains just about every configuration and setting used by Windows. However, It must be used with extreme care- any Incorrect edit and/or deletion, can cause significant system Instability and loss of functionality. It can be accessed by typing regedit In the run menu.
